How do you make changes in your diet? ?

You’ve got where you’re at now. ?
You’ve got where you know you wanna be. ?

But how do you get there? ?

You just make one change at a time. ?
Don’t try to do it overnight, unless that’s easier for you to control.

If you know that you’re gonna cheat because you’ve got stuff in the fridge…
You’ve got stuff in the pantry… ?
And you wanna go ahead and clean out your kitchen… ? ?
Only have the healthy nutritious foods in there that you want to be eating…? ? ??
That’s one way to go.
And I know a lot of people do it that way.

If that’s too much of a drastic change for you…
Do it one meal at a time.
Take one day of the week and say…
“Okay, every Monday it’s gonna be No-Meat Monday. Every Monday, no meat in whatever we make for dinner.” ?
Then you’ve got Monday covered.
And do that until you’re comfortable with not having meat every Monday.
Then start on Tuesday. ?
What change can we make on Tuesday? ?
What change can we make on Wednesday? ?
Do it one day at a time, one change at a time.
You’re gradually getting comfortable with everything.?

Another thing is…
Let’s say you’ve been really good at whatever you decide your changes are you wanna make…
You’ve been really good for a couple weeks.
And then you fall off the wagon…?
You go and cheat and have something you know you’re not supposed to have. ?

Don’t kick yourself in the butt for that. ?
It’s only one meal.
Just do this … ?
The next meal… get right back on whatever regimen you’ve decided on for yourself
And just keep going. Don’t worry about it.

It takes a while to get these changes to become habit…
To become part of your life.
Just manage it one meal at a time…?
One day at a time. ?
And eventually, you will get to the full blown plan that you laid out for yourself.
