What do you do with all of the poop 
that you get when you’ve got chickens, ducks, geese?
that you get when you’ve got chickens, ducks, geese? I compost it to turn it into fertilizer ?
Then put it under the citrus trees a couple times a year to fertilize the citrus trees
How does composting work? ?
It’s 50% brown items …
Leaves and small twigs from trimming 
Coffee filters and grounds 
Bedding from the brooder or the henhouse
And 50% green items …
Fruits (except for citrus) and vegetables … the ones that have gone moldy and bad
Fruit and vegetables skins that you remove like banana peels 
Teabags 
Eggshells ?
Poultry poop
As it composts it starts to look like dirt, smell like dirt
That’s when it’s starting to mix in and decompose
When it’s ready it smells like good soil, not rotten food or poop
It takes chicken poop about a year before you can actually use it as fertilizer because the ammonia is so strong.

A compost thermometer to make sure that it’s getting up to temperature to kill off all the bad bacteria ?
Soil/Fertilizer Analyzer Meter to measure the compost pH if your garden has specific requirements
Some compost starters, if you want, to help it start to break down. I don’t use those.
