Why mistakes could actually be a good thing…

When mistakes happen or a failure happens…
Some people just say, “I failed,” and they get all negative about it and hurtful.

That really just hurts them more because they’re dwelling on the negative part of the mistake,
When there’s a positive side to the mistake … it’s part of learning.

And if you just admit the mistake
Accept whatever it is that happened that you did or didn’t do
That’s an opportunity for learning

It could be that the mistake happened because you’re on the wrong path to the goal you were trying to achieve. ?
The analysis of that mistake is allowing you to realize that you’re going about it wrong
And you need to make a course correction for that goal you’re after.

Mistakes are really just practice and learning ?
The most important thing when you fall down is to get back up.
Just like when you were learning to ride a bike as a child

You had the training wheels taken off
You fell down those first couple of times
It was so important to get back on that bike
Figure it out and learn about it.
It wasn’t that you were making this mistake.
You were doing a few things wrong because you weren’t keeping your balance. ?
That doesn’t mean you can’t figure it out ?
Learn so that you can meet the goal

And move on from there.
So mistakes are not just negative things that happen to us.
There’s always a positive side

There’s always learning from it.
You just have to take the time to look at it,

Why did it happen,

How did it happen,

What could you have done differently

Without beating yourself up.
Everybody makes mistakes.
It’s not something to beat yourself up over
And to make you feel like you can’t get to that goal you really wanted.
You can get there.

The mistake is just showing you that the path you’re on wasn’t quite the right trajectory to get there

So make a little course correction and you’re back off to the races again.
